| A: | Here is a reality check: Recession is HERE and it is REAL. According to latest statistic release by the US Department of Labour there are current 12.5 million people unemployed in the US. That is roughly half the population of Malaysia!!!! Back home recession has hit the 3 of us quite BADLY. Sean, Farid and I each work for multinational IT company in Cyberjaya. As of January 2009, our salaries were cut 10%, no more fuel subsidy and certain benefits were slashed. This was across the entire organization. We are not complaining. At least we have a job. However we needed a side income fast as we have housing loan, car loan, credit card bills, etc to be paid. |
